Update: Nexus 6 connects fine after 1.03 firmware upgrade

Did the firmware upgrade for the head unit. Android Auto will still only start up with USB debugging enabled on Nexus 6. Maybe when 5.1 is available that might be fixed. Still on 5.0.1

I can tell you that on my Nexus 5 (running 5.1), having 5.1 (and the new firmware) didn't fix the USB debugging requirement.

I'll try USB debugging for my issue as well. I have a ported version of the firmware running on last years avh4000nex unit. I expected some issues but right now no audio seems to work in android auto and after connecting to it no audio works until a reset of the unit.

Problem fixed. Did a system restore to factory settings on my Nexus 6. Everything works fine now. USB debugging will probably still be a problem if developer mode has been enabled.
