Question Update OS

I have a few years old Blackview BV9900 that originally came with version 9 of Andriod. They are not supporting the phone and are not pushing any updates. Is there a way to upgrade to one of the latest versions of Andriod as some app are dropping messages that they dont support the OS9 any longer. Thanks

a 3rd-party ROM is going to be the only way, unless you want to build one yourself. Check with XDA to see if there's one posted there for that device. The OS has to be built for the specific model of device.

Agreed. XDA Developers forum is the place to look for that information. There's a whole section devoted to the Blackview phone and the various models.
