I have had my Vibrant for a week now. Will the phone update automatically to 2.2? Or do I update myself through the settings menu?

I have had my Vibrant for a week now. Will the phone update automatically to 2.2? Or do I update myself through the settings menu?

It will eventually update automatically to 2.2 -- when 2.2 is released. That is not expected for a while.

When an update is pushed to your phone, you will get a notice and have a chance to confirm that you want to install the update. At least that is the normal procedure.
