Lol You're welcome. Now if only I could figure out how to change these message bubbles. That teal and white doesn't work for me. You can hardly see the message in the white bubble. When a theme is applied everything changes except for the chat bubbles now. People got their ringtone back, but now they can't see their messages


Edit: nevermind the themes are working now.

I don't hoard texts, so having to put the tones back every time is pointless.

I see they included audio messages now and more gifs. Now, I have SwiftKey gifs and Samsung.
I can't believe they removed the the option to change the background. They already removed the option to change the conversation bubbles a while back. Now this. I guess you can only change via themes now.
I hope they keep updating Good Lock to include more customizations like the messages background and conversation bubbles.

I just got my update yesterday so don't give up hope. I'm on Virgin Mobile Canada. At first I didn't notice the little red symbol in my message app so it may have been there for a couple of days.

Thank you. I've been searching the forum for information on this and I apologize for opening an old thread. I just upgraded to a Note 9 and discovered this. Everyone posts that the "Recent" update had fixed it. No, it was a stop gap measure. I use text messages among teams and individuals. If I am having a conversation with Person A, Person B and Person C I can only set up tones for the CONVERSATION, and not the INDIVIDUAL. What I need is the ability to assign tones to the individual. Team member, family member, someone from my contact list that occasional messages me or my pharmacy reminding me that it's time to refill my meds or my alarm company telling me that someone just broke into my house. The ability to know whether I need to grab it quickly or I can delay until I'm not busy.
Please don't say change to Textra, or another app, because every one of those tag the exact same way. The CONVERSATION and not the INDIVIDUAL.
Someone post a link to where I can "suggest" to Samsung that the problem needs fixing.
