I received an update yesterday that brought my security up to Jan 2020. Haven't noticed any other changes yet though.

Is Tab s4 expected to get Android 10? My T-mobile version received last security update on Nov 2019. This is ridiculous support for such an expensive tablet.

Samsung updates about 4 times a year, normally. (They get the updates from Google every month - but they sit on them for a few months until they incorporate them - it takes programmers to do that, and they evidently don't want to tie their programmers up every month.)

I can't figure out what you mean, since the operating system that Android runs in is Linux. Ubuntu won't run, but you can simply install a terminal app and run Linux.

That may be true but Linux on DeX is not supported in Android 10 and any work saved in that environment will be lost upon update to Android 10.

Tab S6 updated to 10 and Dex works fine. Should be same when S4 updates.

Yes, DeX works fine. Linux on DeX does not.
