Update still Bluetooth issues

just finished updating my pixel and I'm still experiencing car Bluetooth issues.

When I receive a message my car Bluetooth goes nuts. It won't stop notifying.

I thought a fix was part of the update.

Anyone else still experiencing this?

Mine was fine before the update... now when I get a text the notifications go nuts in the vehicle

I never used it before the update (it was available when I unboxed) but I'm finding Bluetooth to be SO much better than on my 6p.

mine did this same thing. once it cycled through all of my text messages it finally stopped. the good thing is I only had 4000 text messages...

I had to turn off my Bluetooth, all the dingy da ding was drivin me crazy and it had only cycled through maybe 500 messages LOL

I turned off bluetooth and restarted my car...it still didnt stop until all had cycled.

That's so weird. I'm not having this issue. But, I use hangouts.

I didn't have this issue with my 5X.

I have a 2015 Ford fusion and my pixel xl syncs perfectly with ford's sync program in my car, even better than my note 7 did which would go in and out

Mine syncs fine it's just when I receive a notification it goes nuts .

For me, my BT issue is not connections - it does that instantly, at home and in my car.

But the BT signal strength is quite weak. I've informed Google and was hopeful the update would remedy this, but it didn't.

I'm having the exact same issue on my ford edge (SYNC). If I can't get this fixed, the pixel might be going back to the store :-(

Also experiencing bluetooth issues in the car as well. New Ford Sync, I now dread receiving a text while I am driving...

After a few days with the update, my issue is skipping. This seems to happen my car specifically. I don't seem to have the issue with my earbud (Jaybird X2). The skipping in my car is intermittent. It will be bad for a bit, then not do it for a while, then it will come back. The BT is connected with a Gear Fit 2 as well.

So I tried again this morning and so far this issue has corrected it's self it will even read the text now where with my galaxy s4 it wouldn't.

Fingers crossed. Going to keep sending my self texts to see if its truley fixed.

Jeez I just made a thread about this. I had the same text issues with my 2016 Caynon so I sent my phone back. Just ordered another one because I miss it now so hopefully on a month, they will have another update.
