Update to YouTube

Anyone else find the the new update to YouTube annoying? The bars on the sides of the videos are dynamic where they change colors based on what's in the video. Previously they were black. Now the bars match with whatever the colors is on the sides of the video that's playing. At least it is on Android 14 on my S23 ultra. I find it distracting. I wish they would just be black so they disappear when I'm watching a video. I don't like to expand it to full screen as it cuts out the top and bottom of the content.

A quick update.

Apparently there's a setting called Ambient mode in the additional settings within the video itself. I turned it off and it went back to black. Maybe this will help someone else out.
