UPDATE TODAY.....according to htc repersentive/ whos first?

Got the update and was finally able to configure Google Wallet and collect the free 10$ Prepaid from Google.

But I still get the annoyingly wireless disconnects randomly. Anyone else still getting the wireless issues?

Already noticed after setting up google wallet again that my old prepaid balance is gone. I had put 100 dollars on there and used not even ten of that wtf:banghead:

Wow, that sucks. I wonder if that's something you can dispute through your credit card or bank?

Call them. Another user posted a similar issue and they had to transfer it to his 'new' card.

Def. call Money Network, 855-896-0693. They can re-connect your balance to your account. I had $20, same issue. They can fix it.

You'll need your 16 digit account number, available within the Wallet app.

And - I just checked my balance, the transfer is all good. They said it could take 24-72 hours, actually took less than 3.

Heh. <3. Heh.

Trying to not get ahead of myself here but it almost seems multitasking is much improved since the update and I haven't had the Sense reloading yet.

That would be great. Keeping my fingers crossed. Still testing it out to see.

Tried to test out the proximity sensor issue as well and am pleased to report that It's been behaving quite nicely too. And I do have the HD screen protector from Zagg installed by BB on purchase day. Should I be happy again? Time will tell.

And you all were saying the "low level rep" didn't know jack lol. You all owe her an apology

Still technically wrong. But impressive.

All the negativity in this thread at the low level htc rep, I guess she was right after all.

Yeah, occasionally it happens :p I will send her my love through a mental wave!

Most of the negativity is directed at multitasking and HTC's denial of it being a problem.

Oh yeah, I would say it is FAR too soon to come to any conclusions about that. It is more likely that it is just "fresh" from the reboot. Give it some time and see. I would love nothing more than for the update to help with frozen/reload and dropped apps and Sense reloads.

Great!!! I never had the problem, but it is nice to finally see an OTA update and know it did, actually, do something ;)

The new update definately fixed the call proximity light sensor issue thank god. I coukdnt stand not being able to hang up n having to restart my phone everytime. Now all that's left is multi tasking and I won't have a single problem with this phone. Sense does still reload

Well, I can definitely confirm it is not happening a whole lot as before but Sense has reloaded a couple of times already for me.

But I sense (pun intended) some improvement in multitasking because using back button several times after having opened few apps does bring me back to the previous applications in their last known state. Still playing with it to see.

But overall, I'm pleased with the update so far. Phone definitely feels more responsive.

I think most peoples responses are positive to this update. Too bad a lot of people returned their phones on knee jerk reactions to software issues without giving a company a chance to iron out the kinks. But alas each can do what they seem fit with their money. Sure in a perfect world every tech device would release free from all defect, but we don't live in such a land. The sad fact is everything from cell phones to PC games the early adopter consumer is treated as a beta tester for under tested products. Yet we run to be the first to get the products keeping the ball rolling.

Yea I can say that it definately has improved with reloading apps however but if I try on purpose to make it reload it def still does do it. Phone overall is a lot better and I'm thankful for that.

I'm not sure if this is true but I've heard that after the update ppl started seeing 4g LTE go live, I don't see why the HTC software update would have anything to do with sprints network however.

A "couple of times already" in one day is pretty damn bad.

Play with it longer. I don't think anything has changed. And bringing one back to the previous application in its last known state doesn't mean "multitasking"- that is just task switching. If it is suspending the apps, then it is still suspending the apps....

But overall, I'm pleased with the update so far. Phone definitely feels more responsive.

Just a function of a reboot, most likely.
