As a 13 year customer my upgrade was on 6/1. On 5/20 I called to get an early upgrade. They said no.
I called telesales and requested the early upgrade. They transferred me to a supervisor who exemplified the epitome of customer service by making my upgrade effective immediately.

You can ask for an early upgrade if you're close and a long time customer, like the above poster. I have been with them for 6 years, paid 45$ to upgrade 4months early.

There are two ways to have your upgrade date moved up. Account Services can move the date up by two weeks at no cost. They did this for me so that I could pre-order the phone from Best Buy. Sprint also offers a way to buy out the remaining contract time you have for a price, which varies, depending on how much time you need to buy out. There are lots of threads in this forum that people have posted on the topic, so check them out. The results seem to vary.

They probably won't let you move it TWO MONTHS for free, but might give you some workable option. Customer service with Sprint has been really good for years in this (and many other) ways.
