No, I wish. The reason the upgrade got moved to December is because I got my fascinate on December 17th last year. So she moved my upgrade date to December 17th of this year. I think it was definitely worth it to send those email's.

My son was in VZW store today and they told him that he and every other number on my account was eligible for upgrade now, about 9 months before they should be eligible. He asked why and was told VZW was trying to push the 4g phones so if you had 3g device they were letting you upgrade early. Some we are all now waiting on Nexus to be released instead of just me

I find it hilarious that you go through all this trouble and outrage for information on a phone you know will most likely be realeased in the next two weeks; yet, you speak in such a matter of fact tone about getting a GSIII that we have no clue that Verizon will be selling or when. Hasn't this whole SGSII and GN VZW release shown you anything?

**UPDATE** I got a call from the executive offices of VZW today. And I, of course, was told that they were very sorry that they had no information regarding the Nexus at this time. She did more or less hint to me that it is still being tested. HOWEVER, after me telling her how frustrated I was, she went into my account and moved my upgrade date up 9 months. So I now am eligible for an upgrade in December

I realize that this will probably do absolutely NO good at all, but I emailed every single person on this list. First, I told them how I do in fact love the network service that verizon provides but how extremely dissatisfied I am with how they are handling the launch of the Nexus. I told them how I thought the two vzw apps were contrary to the nature of a nexus and how I don't agree with the razr and rezound possibly causing this delay. I said I would break both of my contracts with them if they don't give us some info promptly. I think it would be more effective if others did the same thing. Lol, say what you want. I'm happy for now. And "non-existant" issue? The fact that they are refusing to keep us informed with news on a device that we all want is a very existant issue bro. It's piss poor customer service. Yes, it isn't delayed because there is no release date given. But they aren't telling us anything as to why it hasn't been given a release date yet or why it hasn't been released period. That is an issue that I, and many others, do not like. That is what I told her. It's a very valid complaint. I in no way lied or defrauded anyone. Everything I did was in complete honesty.

Yes, he's right...a NON existent issue. You are whining about a NEW product that never had a release date announced just that it was "coming soon". Is it causing you harm? Maybe they are not giving anyone a date because of whiners like you. If you are getting all worked up about a product with no release date....then my God, the riots you and these others that are all worked up over this will start if Verizon had announced a release date and then missed it. Maybe they found a problem with the Verizon built Nexus and they are trying to resolve it before releasing it...have you thought of that? They are not going to release details like that to the general public, they are not obligated to since it's not something that is affecting their customers since no one owns a Verizon Nexus.

Seriously, if this works you up then wow.

Also, I hate to but your bubble about your "win" in getting your upgrade pushed up after writing all those letters but I was able to do that at a Verizon corporate store not to long ago when I was in a year into my 2 year contract with no whining involved, no threatening letters of disgust, just politely asking.

Hmmm I'm not hearing that on my account my daughter's LG Vortex, hate that phone! is eligible for update 12/14/2012. I called to see if they would allow her an early upgrade and I was told NO!

Was it an automatic thing or upon request? Maybe her date is too far out still?

Upgrade date was June 2012. Don't know any more details as it was my son who stopped at VZW, he called me to let me know. It doesn't show up on our account that way and have no more info as im in Vegas on vacation. Will followup on this when I get back
