Updated ICS schedule

I went over to the Nexus forums a week or so ago, just to see what was up in there (they always seem so interested in any thread over here which compares the Rezound and the GNex :P)

There was a thread with someone complaining about phone bugs/issues and people were flaming the poor guy rather than trying to help him. It was shameful.

I don't think I've encountered a touchier bunch of android afficianados anywhere.

...Luckily its not a big deal, but telling prople ics will be there for your enjoyment q1 certainly boosted their sales of the phone. As evidenced by the poster above, (and in such a small sample pool I might add!) It really comes off as a gimmick. It's really a black eye for htc in my book. Nothing more nothing less.

I'd blame that "gimmick" on Verizon for that wording/marketing inclusion. As you can see for yourself w/ the latest RUU leak from the Endeavour. As well as, HTC announcing that rollout begins in March. It's alive and well and the updrade is going to be available in early 2012. So it's not a lie on HTC end b/c when it hits the Rezound will be Verizons decision ultimately.

Yep, VZW has to ensure that all of the bloat works properly. They don't care about the OS working properly, so long as the bloat works that's all that matters.

I've learned with HTC and Verizon to add 6-12+ months to any time "range" they give. Less disappointment this way.

Given the VLA, I'm not sure they even give a crap whether their bloatware is working properly anymore. They seem content, just as long as it's installed and locked in.
