Updated limit for notifications with the recent update (at least on the P4a 5G)

I have a Pixel 4a 5G, but this limit was there on Android 10 and 11 on my P2xl as well. It used to be that there was a limit of 26 notifications in the notification shade per app. What I mean by this is when you pull down the notification shade to see your notifications, the most you would see is 2 displayed and a "+24" in the bottom right. This primarily impacts Tapatalk - if you participated in an active thread you could easily fill that quickly and not get any new post notifications if you haven't had a chance to clear it.

I'm now seeing as high as +40.

I contacted the developer complaining about that. I don't think it used to work the way it does now, I think a recent update introduced this. The developer said there's nothing they can do
