Updated to Nougat, now S7 doesn't show who messaged (SMS) in notification bar.

Howdy, I just updated to Nougat and I've already ran into some issues.

The new notification bar is quite nice, but it does not show who exactly messaged through the Samsung SMS app. I'll post a screenshot of exactly what displays as soon as I can.

I checked all the settings and the new notification settings and I can't find anything that tells how to enable it.

I use Textra too, but my LED light doesn't blink anymore when I get a text. Do you have any issues with that?

I haven't. Sorry to hear that.

I'm assuming your LED still works with other notifications outside of Textra?

Actually, I just got an email and it didn't blink for that either. So it's not a Textra issue I assume. I've been in the settings for notifications, but can't seem to find any way to change it.

Try charging it and see if the light comes on then. If not, could be a burnt LED? Or some a software issue. Really wish I could be of more help.

The red light comes on when it's charging. I wish I could figure it out, because I hate not having that blinking light! Lol.
