Updated! Verizon! being sneaky with the firmware update.How do I?

Fact rooted, saw my phone light turn on just now in our dark bedroom and saw that Verizon was sneaking a firmware update. So I did a battery pull real fast. Will this dl and install itself making me lose root? Will I need to keep an eye on it and cancel it or will it just not complete itself and error out?

if you are stock rooted, then there's a chance you may lose root with the update. if you install a rom or debloat, then it should not take.

I am rooted and use a ROM and have had no glimpse of any OTA's for a few months now...

For AOSP- it would be liquid thunderbread or for sense related roms, you can choose pretty much any BAMF rom, they are all very stable

2nd, awesome ROM. Don't let the RC name fool you, its more stable than Samsung's full releases.

On my phone rc 4.9 is just about fully stable, its also way faster than previous releases.

(Is this a "radio?"

And that will take can of (the same as) this new OTA, right?

Then, I can download this:

and be happy....right?

its a great ROM, but I definitely wouldn't call it more stable than stock.
