Updates for US Unlocked 32GB HTC One

So I have the US unlocked 32GB HTC One that I bought directly from the HTC website.

Mine shipped running version 1.26 and when I check for updates it says that I am currently up to date. Is the 1.29 update not available for the unlocked variant yet? Would it be safe to flash 1.29 from the UK/AT&T files?

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered already. I did a search and couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to be safe to flash it if you are rooted, plenty of folks at XDA have done it. As far as I know, there is no hardware difference between the unlocked US and international. The Dev version has a couple extra radio bands I think. And you are correct, the US has not gotten the firmware update yet. I'm waiting patiently just in case there is a difference.
