While reading web boards, I came across a thread on XDA that says ClockworkMod 5 is available for the Epic (see [RECOVERY] ClockworkMod 5.0.2.7 BML Officially supported by ROM Manager for Epic 4G - xda-developers). Since I rooted using the instructions posted here in another thread, I installed the ACS version for custom recovery. So I have a few questions: should I update to this newer version of CWM? If so, how should I do it? I know there are directions in the XDA thread, but they're a bit hard for me to follow, being new to rooting and stuff. And they seem to push the use of ROM Manager for this and future updates to CWM, but I think it was suggested here not to use it on the Epic. So another set of instructions that might be easier to follow would be appreciated. I might have more later, but those are the main things for now (should I update, and how). Thanks for your help!
