Updating Email/Contact Group list from phone to gmail

I have a couple of group email lists that I use. I originally built them thru gmail contacts but have since added to them directly on my phone, thru contacts. In my gmail contact list, the list does not show the new members I added. Is it possible to sync those lists FROM the phone TO gmail? I have tried exporting contacts via .vcf files but it doesn't seem to send the group list. Or maybe I am doing something wrong that they aren't included.

I don't think you can export the group itself -- you need to export the contacts that are saved to the Phone account, then import those contacts into your Google Contacts. Then you can add those contacts to the Google Contacts group.

OK, next question then. Is it possible to print a group list from my phone contacts app so that I can more easily compare what is on my phone to what is in the group on gmail?
