How does this happen on a rooted optimus? Can it automatically download it or give me a notification if there's a new version out? I just put on the iho backside cm7 and it's great.

I'm currently working on an update notifier for BACKside-IHO. I have the basic mechanism working, just need to iron out a couple of bugs. Look for it in the next build release.
