I am in the works of a trade for an LG revolution. I am giving 150$ all of my accsessories and my dx for the revoltion.

I am just wondering if you guys that actually own the revolution already think it will be worth me doing this deal and if it is a big enough upgrade. I was going to hold out for the bionic but who knows when that will come out.

I have some questions about the revolution as well--

How's the battery life?

Are there many custom roms out yet?

How is LG's aproach to android, do they have something like Motoblur or is it closer to stock?

What will I notice is better then my Dx?

What will I notice is worse then my dx?

Any other thoughts?

TIA.

I'm not sure about the comparison between the DX and the Rev but I've had my Rev since the day it came out. I love it and I think I made the best pick between the TB, Charge, and Rev. The battery seemed very bad at first but as it seasoned it last me all day. Remember, most people that get a new phone is on it all day every minute enjoying its features. Ask yourself what battery in what device laptop, pda, ipad, etc is supposed to last all day 24/7... (?????)...I can't think of anything either so please don't let other discourage you for that. I do not root my phones so I know nothing of Rom's. Oh and to add watching Netflix on my phone is the $hit. Good Luck.

Me and my wife love our LG Revolutions...the comparison is night and day I would say....but its more about the Rev compared to the Thunderbolt which the Rev has bigger battery..and compared to the Charge..much better built quality and better UI...I researchered all the phones I felt would be comparable and well...LG is a mix LG Charge and TB...compared to your DX1....2 different worlds..go for the LG
