Upgrade question, how is 5G?

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade from the S9 to a Note 10+ 5G on at&t. But I was wondering, is it worth getting the 5G model? If I'm looking at the coverage map correctly, it looks like 5G is in my area according to the coverage map. But for those of you with the 5G model, does it hold the 5G signal as good as the LTE signal? I would have to order and have the aura glow 5G model delivered, but I can get the best buy blue LTE model today if I want. Thanks, guys
