Upgrade to S20? Or My S10 is till the king?

Going to stick with my S10 which I purchased from Costco just before Thanksgiving for $429.

exactly.

I traded in my S9+ at launch to get that price; 6 months later, you can just walk into Costco and get that price.

I fully expect that to happen with S20 family. By summer, the $1400 Ultra will be widely available for under $700. Costco members, keep a lookout.

No, did not just walk in. It was a special they had on S10, S10+, Note 10 and Note 10+ the $429 price was only for the S10. The others were somewhat more expensive, but similar deals. No trade in required at that price. I have my S8 to one of my sons. My other son got the Note 10 at a different Costco.

by "just walk in" I meant they required no trade ins, no jumping through hoops--just walk in and buy it.

Sure it was a special. They have these every year, as the market pretty quickly after launch determines what it will pay for the devices. List price is a fantasy for all but the few suckers at the very beginning who "gotta have it".

I have an S10+ and played with the S20 lineup and BB today for about 30 minutes. I was kinda underwhelmed. 120hz refresh was smooth but you almost have to A-B it to notice. If I handed it to someone they would think the phone was smooth and seemed responsive but would not be blown away. I'm not a large phone guy and the 10+ is even bigger than I'd ideally like. The ultra is not as big and heavy as the specs suggest but it is noticeably bigger than the s10+. Put a case on it that's big enough to protect the corners and that HUGE camera bump and it's a deal breaker for me....The optical zoom if you take alot of picture that utilize it would be the only draw I can see if you already have the S10.

What about the regular s20 though? Have you has a chance to look at it?

120hz is pretty noticable. I think better design and 120hz are the best features of S20 so far, not the hyped camera
