Upgrading from G2 to....?

I have an LG G2 on VZW that is starting to slow down(not that big of a deal as I could always try another rom). Battery life has gone done a bit more than I expected(I expect to go down after a over a, but not this bad) and that's one reason I want to switch. However, the real reason I need to switch is a portion of the touch digitizer has gone bad and a portion of the screen isn't work. I've looked at all my options and most of the there are a bit underwhelming for me. I am thinking of going affordable to keep cost down and I prefer stock android after the LG UI(even debloated) turned out to be kind of ugly and laggy.

LG 5x - I like the size, but the smaller battery(2700mah vs 3000mah) and display(read it's not as accurate as the G2) have me wondering will it be good. And my G2 hasn't been the best GPS wise, nor build wise, so I am a bit hesitant to go LG route again.

Motorola XPE - It felt really nice in the hand, and which almost makes up for the larger size. Plus, it's stock android with some useful Moto features. However, as of late it looks like Motorola isn't as good when it comes to their updates, plus the battery is also a bit questionable to me as it's 3000mah on a devices with 5.7in QHD display.

Nexus 6 - It too felt nice in the hand the like XPE, but in a slightly larger model. I've noticed the prices for 64gb model look to be excellent, and the 3gb of ram and SD805 don't look like a bad option(thought it's 32bit if I am not mistaken, and wondering how long before Android goes 64bit only). Also wondering how the camera compares to my G2. I don't use my phone camera that much(generally have a small-ish ILC with me at all times), but I don't want something goes backwards from the G2 quality wise. Right now it maybe the front runner based on price and the fact its a nexus.

I guess really what I want to know is, how does the nexus 6 compare to the G2? Should I go for it(and just adjust to the size of it, like I did with the G2), or would it be better to spend a bit more for the XPE and deal with uncertainty that comes from non-nexus phones?
