Upgrading to official Gingerbread

I am currently on a leaked .588 and am having a hard time finding information on how to upgrade to the official. I wouldn't care as much if my gps wasn't so laggy and off.

You can just SBF to .596 and take the OTA to .602 the SBF file is in a sticky under the root/rom section. If you need more help, keep asking before any doing.

Just downloaded the .sbf and I have no idea where to go from here.

Make a back up. Grab a copy of RSD Lite 4.9. Im sure u can get it at 4shared. Or just Google it.

To SBF

Put .596 SBF file on your desktop.
Grab RSD Lite 4.9 and install it. Once installed open it.
Power off your phone. Hold camera button and Vol DOWN button together. While doing that, tap your power button until the bootloader screen comes up and says connect device.
Connect your phone to your pc via USB
U can click show device to make sure RSD Lite sees it. (may take a few tries)
Select the .596 sbf file on your desktop
Click start
You know your done when the device reboots. Might take a while. If you bootloop, just battery pull and repeat process. When its done you'll be back at the activation screen and you'll be on stock non rooted .596 which then you can go to System Update and grab .602

Well does Windows recognize your device if you just plug it in USB? If not I believe, someone correct me if I am wrong, this is what you need...

yes my computer does. I use it to tether.

As tired as I am, only thing I can think of is run RSD Lite as Administrator. Find the RSD Lite exe, right click it and select run as administrator.

I had this problem the first time I sbf my phone. The problem was missing drivers just like jerseyboy said. Update the drivers from moto web site and you should be good.

Dicteresno gets thanks for the idea too. Non Droid X user came up with the idea, I just found the files.
