Upgrading to S10/S10+ or staying with the S8+

So who is upgrading to one of the new S10s and why? Personally, I'm standing pat for now. My wife has the S9+ which is almost exactly like my S8+ except for the moved fingerprint sensor and incremental camera improvements. The S10+ just seems like more of the same to me. I'm not interested in paying $1k for a wide angle lens and under screen fingerprint reader. The S8+ is the first phone I've had that doesn't feel old after 2 years. It's still snappy and has a modern design. The battery is slightly degraded but not enough to make me need a replacement.

Same here. My s8+ is good enough.
Maybe next year when it's cheaper. Samsung's usually drop in price after a couple of months.

I'm jumping in head first. My S8 is just as great as it was the day I bought it, but it's time to move on. My wife's S8 however. I can't get her to factory reset and give her device new life. It's super laggy. Kinda makes it easy for me.

I'm sticking with the S8+ as well. The phone is snappy, still takes great photos, and has a stunning display. All of the upgrades have been incremental at best.

I always want the latest and greatest, but I just can't justify getting the S10+ yet (especially considering that 5G will soon be more ubiquitous).
