Upload Video to play in HD

Hi Everyone, I currently have a stack of videos for work that are .avi, .mp4, and .mkv, whats the best way to upload them to my xoom (wifi) so that i can get playback in HD with this awesome screen

Wireless: ES File Explorer will let you move from files via wifi router from computer to Xoom.
Wired: use the cable that came with the Xoom
