Uploads (much) faster than downloads??

My GN is experiencing much faster uploads than downloads. I hardly ever have 4G and I'm in an area that supposedly has good LTE coverage.

Anyway, attached are a couple of screenshots that make my point. This happens over wifi too, so it seems like a radio issue, not a network issue.

Anyone have any explanations? Is my GN just a dud?

Does anyone else have the same problem. And it is a problem, when I'm paying for 4G in a strong Verizon LTE area and can't get much better than single-digit Mbps speeds for downloads, but strangely get double-digit upload speeds. Is speediest.net a faulty app?

Even if that's the case, I can't believe how poorly the GN works in 4G. I almost never get 4G signal, and even if I do, it's so poor that it seems to work not much better than AT&T's fake "4G" with my iPhone 4S.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I've never had a phone where uploads were faster than downloads...always the reverse.

Mines just the opposite when I do find a 4g signal even though I'm in a strong 4g area I can get 8megs down and barely 0.18megs upload.

My download speeds are always faster than the upload speeds on 4G or wifi. I am beginning to wonder how accurate it is though. I can do two speed tests back to back with the same signal and get a large difference. The only thing consistent is around a 20ms ping. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if it makes a difference?

sometimes my upload would be a a tad faster but not too often. I am getting horrible speeds on my gnex. I dont know if its just my area but my area is suppose to be a great 4g spot? People are saying that the gnex is just more slow altogether than othero lte phones. Im very close to returning it, i just wish there was a way to find out if a rezound would actually get better 4g speeds?

Mine are consistently good. Strong down and good upload.
