Url bookmark on desktop

Using "bookmark" widget I have added an url bookmark/shortcut to my desktop, however when I tap on icon, error "The document cannot be opened because it is not a valid PDF document." occurs. Strange, as it is an url bookmark to "file:///sdcard/folder/document.html" local document. What is wrong and/or how can I fix this? Please advice. Thank you.

Find your PDF reader app (there could be more then one) and clear the defaults for it.
Then, don't set a PDF reader app as the default app for an HTML file type again.

I rarely set defaults for certain file types anymore. It's just confusing if I load a new future app that I want to use with certain file types.
One extra screen touch isn't that hard.
