US Galaxy S3 Screen Color Profile removed?

I remember when reviewers were talking about the international S3 there was a setting to change your "screen profile" from dynamic/standard/natural/movie. I am guessing that this feature has been removed from the US version...?

Yes, it was. I had looked for it too. I think I saw it briefly before I activated my phone. On the US side it was replaced by "Auto adjust screen tone" but for the life of me I have not been able to discern its effects.

I too wish it were available in our phones and can't for the life of me see any reason to have removed it. The colors are overly saturated, and while I can certainly live with it, it would be nice to have it set to a much more realistic color profile.

They probably knew American tech journalists would set the worst possible screen profile for a given lighting condition, then take pictures next to the iPhone to show how much "better" the Apple's screen is.
