I cancelled my order over B&H. Asus website have 8gb version and eta ship time August 13-20th. It way better knowing when then waiting on back ordered.

Right away. It haven't ship so the money be reversed back quick.

Depend on what models you want. Pre-order and save your spot. 64gb - 128gb ship faster than 256gb models. Asus isn't Samsung. You might wait longer.

I thought they were sold out of the 64gb?

Yeah. Only black version. My 8gb silver version also sold out.

I've been reading about the motherboard problems on the Zenfone 6 because of the latest update. Asus only has a 10 day return policy when u order from them

Bh photo has a 30 day return policy. I'll stick with my order on bh photo because of that reason alone

No. You should read website again, 30 days, it been awhile since I see 10 days return window.
