Usage Manager app gone?

Coming from the S7E. There was an app called Usage Manager. Don't see it on he N8. Anyone know if it can be installed? Is there a replacement for it in the N8?

I don't remember an app called that on the S7 Edge... are you sure it came with your phone? The Note 8 should have the same options, though, from the Settings. Device Maintenance gives you an overview and general control, or Application Manager (might be called just Apps).

That app is not on my S7E (and I'm not in the US, so this is as stock as can get from Samsung), so it must be an addition somewhere like from carrier modified software.

Yeah, that looks a bit like the Device Manager setting screen, but it's definitely not a stock app I remember on mine. (US Carrier version).

Do you have the S7 Edge? Is that in the app drawer? If so, can you take a screenshot of the App Info page? I want to see if the 'Process Name' shows up there.

The usage manager is missing on my Note 8, I can't find it anywhere. It seems like the ATT version is missing a few items (not only from the Notification Screen), but also the Usage Manager

Att here. It's not on S8 either, but it was on my S7E.

I have to take the long route: settings, connections, mobile networks, mobile data.

I was just going to start a thread about this and other missing features that were on the N7/S7E that aren't on the Note8 (and probably the S8/+).... It's bafelling me that samsung is taking away Edge features on an Edge device...

So far I am missing the Usage Widget, Edge Feeds, the Night Clock, and the Edge News Panel. I think they replaced the News Panel with CNN or USAToday.

Night Clock was BIG for me... and so was the Usage Manager Widget!!

I wonder if the Usage Widget is specific to AT&T... it kind of looks like it would be, lol

***EDIT*** I found the night clock settings in the AOD settings now.

Could you please click on "About Edge Screen"? I see the same thing as SerkleK. This is the version of Edge Screen I have (I'm on VZW).

I have the same version 3.2.25.3 on my T-Mobile Note 8.

I have an older Note 3 running the Phronesis rom that shows version 1.2.21 and has edge feeds. It appears to have been changed with the release of the S8.

I also remember this, I think much of that functionality was replaced with the Maintenance applet.
