No, you're still not in an actual forum list. That's a search result page. Tap the little "Forum" word in the Forum>Search line, and that will give you the main forum list. Then select the forum you'd like to create a new thread in, and you should see the button.
Can't find the little Forum hyperlink? In your screenshot, just above the big Search Results title, do you see the little Forum > Search text?
Oh yeah , I've done enough of the them , still there's the one that stubborn and could breakYeah, cracking the screen is a huge concern. Way too easy to do.
Sorry to hear that
Learn by doing, school of hard knocks teaches the best.
Very rewarding to do your own repairs.
>Watch the ESD, a wrist strap grounded to earth ground and a ESD matt is best practice.
Always be sure the humidity is above 60%, have some water boiling in the room if it's dry. Humidity is the best method to limit ESD. Remember damage may not manifest it's presence for weeks or months.
I've handled many sticks of RAM and never blew out one; treat the insides of the phone like a RAM stick.
Some of the internal components are not harden to ESD like the external inputs. They are easily damaged/destroyed by even the smallest ESD insult.
If you can feel, hear or see static electricity, it's already more than enough to cause damage.
That's probably why. Not sure how else to do it if you want to keep all of those things off.
I have an app called Smart Fast Charging that does that. Not sure if it's available in your country, I'm in The Netherlands.I have an app that reminds me to stop charging at custom charge. I have set it to ring at 85%... I also do not let the phone go below 20% usually. Never below 10%.
By the way, anyone knows any good app that will stop the charge instead of just reminding me will help. I hope Samsung makes one soon.
There are people who combine all the worst charging habits... you'll be surprised how fast a battery can degrade in those cases. If you are going to trade up your phone every 2 or 3 years, battery will never be an issue. it won't degrade much for you to notice. Just make sure it doesn't heat up too much (beyond 40c). I charged daily to 100%, never have a problem since note 1 all the way to note 10. To those who recommend charging to 80%, it is not practical at all to some people. I would have been missing around 1 1/2 hr screen on time everyday at 80% charge vs 100%

My brother in law's iPhone XS went from 100% battery health when new to like 88% in 6 months

That sounds like an awesome app - I may try and look for it.
The new smartphones with fast charging enabled, a fast charger/cable, charge at the maximum safe rate for the LI pack.
With a 25 watt brick I go from 30-72% in less than 20 minutes.
The optional 45 watt brick is even faster.
Even if you could you wouldn't want to alter the optimized charge curve. As the device nears 100% it alters the charge rate to prevent overcharging and the possibility of a LI run away... if memory serves me correctly.
Unless rooted, no apps can do a auto shutdown on charge. I've looked for this more then once
If this one can, and doesn't tamper with the charge curve it be great. I suspect it's not available on Playstore for a good reason.
For sure - I know that smartphones can't overcharge nowadays; and that they will start to charge differently once they get to a higher percentage. It'd just be nice to keep a closer eye on my charging patterns. No matter how gently I care for my phones, batteries seem to be the first thing to go - though I know phones aren't necessarily built for long-term use.

That's an iPong, it was probably just throttled by crApple on
I'm still playing with the AccuBattery app. It's gives a lot of useful info and insight into LI conservation in one place. Doesn't use too much power or resources running in the background.
It's has a adjustable charge reached warning but sounds only once.
Need to do a full charge to check it's estimates; this battery has been in use 6 months.
May purchase pro version if I still like it after some more evaluation![]()
