USB action on connect

Still morphing from my Samsung S4 to a S7 Edge. One issue: When I plug in the USB cable to my PC...On my S4 my PC recogonized it for file transfers (and shows up in File Manager). With the S7, it defaults to USB charging. I have to pull down the notification list and choose the open to open for file transfers.
Does anyone know if is a way to set the default action like I had with theS4?

I believe this has already been discussed. No, you can't change the default.

FYI: The option is now available. I checked in the past and could never find it..now its there so it may have come along in the last software upgrade.

In developer options, there is a line for USB options. You can set it there and it will remain sticky.

That sure would have been nice when I was trying to get stuff off my wife's busted S7... I have to write down all the keystrokes with a keyboard plugged in to get it to cast the screen to my tv... lol
