USB-C adapter for Note 10+ (which one works for Note 10+ ?)

I'm not going to take another chance. Will simply return this Samsung adapter and get something entirely different.
I got this one - also because Samsung didn't even have a black one in stock - went back and bought more - this works flawlessly and it's high quality:

USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter, USB Type-C to 3.5mm Adapter Nylon Cable [DAC Hi-Res] Compatible with iPad Pro New 2018,Pixle 2/XL/3,HTC,Samsung S8/S9/Note 8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RMY3V9...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6680778

Hi, thanks for the link. What phone are you using this Benfei brand adapter with? A Note 10 or something else?

I'm so peeved at Samsung now. Will never order anything directly from the Samsung website again. After I submitted an email inquiry asking for a refund for the defective product, I got a message from someone with a long Indian name asking me to jump through hoops before I can submit my return. Again, a hassle and a pain. It's not even about the $15 adapter, it's the trouble of doing something over again cuz the official/authorized part s&ck$. I would pay someone $20 cash directly for something that works right instead of ordering something online and waiting a week for something to arrive only to find out it's defective and having to return it and find something else instead.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy 512GB Note 10+ 5G

Verizon Samsung 512GB Note 10+ 5G! I use that adapter in an older car with a 3.5mm audio aux input, and also with my phone making calls with wired earbuds that contain a mic. Oh! Talking about "mic"... DROP!

Seems right to me. Why do u think that’s odd?
I have to be honest... 5G is brand spanking new and the range is very short - and it is not yet in very many places. I live near NYC and on my way by I pulled over into an area where I read it had been implemented. The upload speed I would think would still be much higher, but unless I was in just the right spots it keeps falling back to 4G. Therefore I think the upload speed was just affected by the flakiness of the connection (especially because it was slower than the upload speed with 4G!). I only went for a 5G model which a lot of people say is a big waste of money - because I know for a fact Verizon (and the other carriers too, but not as much as Verizon) - are spending literally billions of dollars to try to get this up and running everywhere, and one other reason... Usually I just get a phone every other year but with a cost of this one I'm going to make it last three - and it is so far leaps and bounds beyond the quality of the other Galaxy Note phones that I've had - unless the battery dies I believe it will easily last that long. I do have some concerns that the 5G radio might be vastly improved to also use much less power by the time 5G is implemented everywhere and I'd be stuck with an old slower hardware version, but it appears the design of the chip is pretty well set in stone because the standard had taken so very long to put into place (the 5G chip designs have already had years of testing). And why be stuck with an expensive phone for three years that doesn't support 5G? Phhhtt!

Thoughts anyone?

(P.S. and if I'm spending this kind of money on a phone, you can be damned sure I'm going to find a place to test 5G instead of just assuming it works!)

Yea. Phone don’t use 5G as upload. It would be damn near impossible

I will also add that the 5G chip in the galaxy not is a separate implementation. Next year we should see all radios in one chip and that alone will be much more power efficient. Otherwise the note 10 5G is fine but design changes will likely be the biggest factor going into the future. We will see some interesting internals and design decisions of layout soon. 5G is going to be extremely short range for mmWave. Once they get it dialed in it’s probably only gonna reach tens to a few hundred feet max. Also weather conditions play a HUGE roll of how 5G propagates. Humidity in the atmosphere interfere so it’s going to be very interesting.

1. Why would it be impossible
2. If that is the case, then how come they don't use the 4G for upload - and/or if they already are, then how come upload is much faster when download is 4G?
3. Or are youi saying that 5G upload is slower than 4G upload? LOL

1. 5G from a phone would require a HUGE amount of power if using mmWave.

2. They use 4G as the upload. Idk why the upload would be slower when using 4G. But really unless you are uploading something you don’t need much speed. I’d rather have quicker latency for upload when browsing web pages and such.
