USB-C adapter for Note 10+ (which one works for Note 10+ ?)

Update: I went ahead and ordered the Samsung adapter from their website. It's funny that this is the first time I've ever ordered anything from Samsung's website, even though I've spent thousands and thousands on Samsung devices over the past decade. I'm gonna be highly peeved if the Samsung adapter doesn't work! :-P
I can't think of a reason why the Samsung wouldn't work

Well, ya know, I have low expectations. Waaaay low, LOL! Don't take anything for granted for working correctly when it comes to gizmos. If this adapter works correctly, I want to use it for doing on-the-fly vlogging with my Note 10+ attached to either a mini shotgun microphone or a lavalier microphone depending on the situation. I also have a Canon EOS M50 camera for doing "real" video shooting attached to a better shotgun mic (that has +10 decibal gain setting and low-cut pass noise filter). The M50 camera has a 3.5mm mic-in jack to accept an external microphone, but alas the Note 10+ doesn't doesn't have the same jack. I wish the Note 10 phone retained the 3.5mm jack so I can use all my peripheral accessories without resorting to a dongle. At this point, I will be happy if the Samsung adapter works.

Do let us know

Wow! $27 for that adapter? If the official Samsung adapter I ordered doesn't work, I will resort to getting that $27 one. Thanks!

It was a little cheaper when I got it, but yeah, it's a little pricey. I got this one over the Samsung because it converts up to 32 bit/384kHZ. The Samsung only goes up to 24 bit/192kHZ. It had a 5.00 coupon attached instead of the 5% off it currently has.

Update here. Got my initial email alert saying my Samsung adapter will arrive this past Friday. Then next day got another alert saying it's delayed and will arrive Monday. Then got another alert the next day saying it will arrive on Tuesday. Isn't Federal Express suppose to do rapid delivery? What's with all the delay for a tiny little package that weighs nothing? I then broke down and registered on the Samsung website to see if I could get a better answer on transit progress (versus Federal Express), but the Samsung website doesn't give me jack for progress update. Now I know why I never purchased anything directly through the Samsung website in the past. I am soured on the whole Samsung retail website experience. Blaaah! :-(

I wonder if your delays have anything to do with all the wildfires happening in California?

Dunno. Anything is possible. I'm in San Francisco. My package is stuck in Sacramento (2 hours drive away). I'm watching the news on TV of wildfires up in the North Bay now.

I’d say that’s what. If not for fires then power outages.

Has anyone tried the official Samsung USB-C adapter?? Will I be the first guinea pig? I really need a usable adapter so I can connect other external devices to my phone, such as my Movo XVR700 shotgun microphone if I want to. Right now, that same Movo mic only fits onto my Canon EOS M50 camera because it has a 3.5mm mic-in audio jack. It would be great if I can also use the same mic onto my Note 10+ phone for better audio recording.

I use this one so I can use a 3.5 mm headphone and charge at the and time. It works OK so far. Screenshot_20191028-001059_Amazon%20Shopping.jpeg

UPDATE HERE: I finally received the Samsung USB-C adapter that I ordered from Samsung's website. Here is my summary: THIS IS JUNK! DO NOT GET THIS. AVOID!!

When I inserted the Samsung adapter into my Note 10+ phone and placed a simple 3.5mm headphone into the adapter, the first thing I noticed is a constant clicking noise every 1/2 second coming from only the right ear bud, nothing from the left ear. As a matter of fact, there is no sound coming out of the left ear phone bud whatsoever, totally zero. I tried another different headphone into the adapter with the same result, clicking noise coming from the right ear piece, no sound at all from the left side. I played music from my MP3 file on my phone, the constant clicking noise was totally rhythmic throughout the right ear piece with no sound at all coming out of the left side. Yes, music did play, but only through the right ear bud along with the clicking noise, but nothing coming out of the left side. I then tried something different. I plugged in my Rode VideoMic Go external shotgun microphone into the Samsung adapter and shot a video of Yahoo news playing on the computer screen. Exactly the same thing happened when I played back the video on my phone, constant rhythmic clicking noise from the right ear bud, no sound at all from the left bud. I notice this adapter doesn't even say the word "Samsung" anywhere. The only word anywhere on this device is the word "Vietnam" and some letters and word on the metal tip of the adapter. This adapter arrived to me by mail from Plainfield, Indiana. Now how do I return this piece of C&#P back to its originator?? Thoroughly disgusted...

Here's a picture attached. Notice the wording on the package "Ultra High Quality Audio Adapter..."
