So I don't have ANY items in my house that use USB-C. Now I have two phones coming in that will need those ends in order to charge. Instead of buying brand new cables, I opted for Adapters that I found on Amazon from Anker. They come in a two pack for like $6 so I purchased two. It may be kind of late, but are there any cons to using the adapter ends vs buying new cables? Is anyone else going to opt for the same?

You do know that each phone comes with an USB cable AND a micro-USB to USB-C adapter in the box, right? So you'll have two cables and two adapters already as soon as you get both phones. And if you have any wireless chargers, those are still usable.

Yea, definitely works out. Im not one to carry a single charger everywhere, there's a charger at home, car charger, charger at work, and then there's my portable chargers in my backpack. So I've got a few places I'll want to keep these Adapters.

Great point. I am using the one in box for the office charger or the car so spares definitely come in handy.
