These are my headphones: Sennheiser CX 300 II Precision In-Ear Headphones 1.2 m Cable Length 3.5 mm Jack
This is the usbc-to-aux-adapter i bought so that i can listen to music with my samsung A33 phone:
Samsung USB Type-C to 3.5 mm Jack Adapter (Ee-UC10J) ASIN: ‎B07VC4QKNZ Model-number: EE-UC10JUWEGWW
Amazon link:

Music keeps playing over the phone instead of headphones, its just dissapointing.
Why does it not work? Can i fix it?

Would this one work instead?

Does the phone support USB-C audio? If not, no matter which cable you buy, it will not work.
Thanks for the info, didn't consider that. I asumed it would just be compatible using the adapter.
There's not a whole lot of information about this topic on the net.
Where can i find a list, or find out for my particular device if it supports audio over usbc?

Unfortunately this would have to be from someone with the same phone... Like you mentioned, not a lot of info out there (other than Samsung phones no longer support audio jack headphones and you need an USB-C connector WITH DAC). On a few forum posts I saw, however, seems this is a common issue with your particular phone model. Only other thing that I can think of is to try 'basic' headphones. If the ones you have used power from the audio jack, the USB-C adapter may not be able to deliver the power the old port could.

@SpookDroid is probably right. There is mention in some searches of looking at the audio setting in Developer Options. Someone else had success buying a cheap dual output cable that allows charging and has a 3.5mm port as well. A regular adapter (w or w/o a dac, not sure) wouldn't work.
Could be a limitation of the Exynos chip as a wild guess.
Do you get an extra volume slider when plugged in, per chance?

I can use a Dollar Store (Poundland here in the UK) £2 basic usb - c to 3.5 mm adapter without a DAC on my phone and it works fine. It has a regular headphone jack so I don't need it but was curious. Not a Samsung at all but a top spec 2020 phone from Xiaomi of China. Same spec USB 2.0 port with OTG but a good chipset.
I don't know why Samsung specify a DAC adapter, but you have tried one.
