USB Charger falling out

I've had my HTC for a while now and I'm just now starting to have this problem. Whenever I charge my HTC One M8 the cable goes in very loosely and can basically fall out if tug on it with as much force as it takes to pick up one Frosted Flake. It's really aggravating. Is it the charger or my phone?

Try someone's new charger it's cheaper and also will tell you witch one it is. My bet it's the charger.

Your guess is the charger tip SHRANK versus the port got stretched out. I don't think so.

Neither. It's most likely that the two spring loaded tabs on the plug are worn out, which can happen over time.

Micro usb plugs get worn out, they're designed that way to prolong the life of the port in the phone.

Mine typically last around 6 months with daily use, but cheaper ones don't last that long

New micro usb cable and you should be fine

I have had that issue with my M7 and it turned out to be a faulty cable plug. I changed the cable and everything was fine again.
