To use Helium Backup, I need to get into USB debugging mode. I went to Developers Options, but found that the Usb debugging Tab is greyed out. So what can I do?
Thanks.

What's your phone model?
Try these:
1. If it is a Samsung device, disable My Knox first.
2. If you connected it to PC, then disconnect it, or connected it in PTP mode.

If Developer Options are greyed or unavailable, navigate: Settings > About phone > Software info then tap Build number 7 times and it should appear normal so you select it.

We are in the LG V20 section, so I doubt he has a Samsung unless he's way off course.....lol

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the instructions. I did that and noticed that as long as my phone, yes it is a V20 :), is not plugged to the laptop, USB debug is highlighted, but once it is plug to the laptop it us grayed out.

Is this normal as Helium does not run correctly & I cannot backup my internal storag.

It greys out after plugging in. Did you enable USB debugging before plugging it in?

Yes, USB debugging is always enabled (it is highlighted) on the phone. So, yes USB debugging is enabled before plugging in.

The behaviour is normal. What are you selecting from the USB notification menu after you plug in?
