USB Host Mode-Is the Bionic Capable now in ICS?

I've just gotten my ICS update-Florida, not soak test selected-and was wondering-does ICS make a difference regarding the Bionic's capability to run in USB host mode? The older threads seem to say that only with a power source and a three way cable, or was I misreading that?

I became interested because of the meteor showers tonight...seems there is a DSLR controller that works with my camera, but requires an android device with usb hosting capability. I know the OTA is very new, but thought some that have been indulging in the various beta roms might have tried it out?

Not related, but when exactly did you get your update? I still haven't got mine.

Lucky you I live in Florida as-well and I haven't seen any update, which sucks I spend half the day looking on the forums looking for any inkling of any update info!

Bump-anyone try the existing workarounds to see if they still work? Or if they are still needed?
