USB not recognized after last software update

My Samsung Note 5 only charges when connected to my windows PC. It is not visible for media transfer. Please resolve

Pull down notifications. Look for a Bluetooth notification. Tap it. (Then you'll probably have to tap the notification it turns into.) Then choose MTP (or File Transfer, depending on the carrier). And if it's a typical carrier screw-up, you have to do that every time you plug in the USB cable.
