USB port 2011 Chevy Silverado

Have a 2011 Chevy Silverado when I plug in to the USB port i get could not connect file system data corrupted. I remember when I us to get options. had a droid a while ago had no problem then has a phone that used windows, and that's when I first noticed now back to a droid and I will get this message asked, gm they told me it was b probably the windows operating system any help would be would be appreciated.

The audio system is probably looking for an MP3 player. An Android phone doesn't look like one. Bluetooth (if the phone has a media profile in Bluetooth) or an audio cable should work.

If your truck stereo has a 3.5 audio input I would get an audio cord that can use this option. Plug into phone and truck radio and you are Golden
