I am looking for a way to create a private network using the usb cable. Get a vpn between the android (rooted google nexus running 4.2.2) device and the Windows 7 PC. I would like to set static IPs on both sides. Is this possible? I was able to do this when I had Palm pre using the instructions here: USBnet Setup - WebOS Internals. Looking for an android equivalent. Thanks.
