Anyone else find this. Really hard for me to attach my Samsung provided cord to the phone. Seems to be some sort of resistance in the port.

Just decided to try the Anker usb c cord and it goes into the phone much more smoothly. I'm going to have to go to Best Buy and see if they can provided another cord.

Did you try both ends of the cord? If the other end plugs in smoothly, then maybe there's some debris stuck in the problematic end.

What do you mean "both ends of the cord"? Only one end has the usb c fitting. The other end is a regular usb connection.

Not the one that goes into the plug end of the Samsung fast charger for the S10e. I didn't know there were double ended usb c cords.

Oh sorry, I was thinking of the USB-C cords that have come with my Pixel phones. They're all USB-C on each end.

Samsung has some with double USB C but not on the S10 series. I believe it started with the Note 10.

This definitely should not be happening with the OEM charging cable. Are you using a case on your phone?

Mike D...I cannot find your post asking if another cable worked - and yes, it did, an Anker cable. I'd just like to get a replacement for the one that originally came with the phone.

Have thought of user wireless charger..
I'm using this Yootech Wireless Charger..
It charge so fast .. i like it so much ..

Best Buy included a wireless charger when I bought my phone. I do use it, but the wired charged is faster.

I went to Best Buy today to get a replacement for my cord and they gave me no trouble. The cord has the same behavior as my original - it would go in just so far and then I'd feel strong resistance which I would have to push through. I told them that I thought they must all be that way, kept the original cord and will use my Anker USB-C cord which goes into the port very smoothly.

Honestly the cables Samsung provide do seem to be pretty low quality. I don't use the one that came with my phone either.
