I have Verizon but work where there's no vzw coverage so I have a prepaid tmobile phone.
I want to use my sim from tmobil in the vzw note 3.
I put it in I can make calls and recieve but cant send sms or get on the Internet?

I read something about changing or adding a vpn for tmobile to use sms and net?
Anyone have the solution?

You'd have to root your phone then add the "apn" necessary to get to t mobiles network.

You can edit the apn without root on the Verizon Note 3. Just put in the tmobile sim and go into the settings and edit the apn. I tried a StraightTalk /tmobile sim and got voice and data no issues.

Yes I added the vpn to it so now I can use texts and Internet.

Very happy to now just switch Sims and only need to use one phone.

Don't they have different radio bands? One is GSM and one is CDNA

The Verizon Note 3 has cdma and gsm radios. According to the fcc filing, it supports tmobile band 4 lte as well, though don't know if it is locked for now since Verizon hasn't deployed band 4 lte yet.

Hey guys. I'm a complete noob. Would you guys mind giving me the apn settings? I noticed the example and suggestion given, but it's not working. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to add to the apn.
