Use my Galaxy S3 sim in Nexus 7 on Verizon?

I've been thinking of getting a Nexus 7 LTE at Best Buy this week for $319. I know this was possible in the past, but since Verizon is officially carrying it now, can I still take the sim out of my S3 and put it into the Nexus 7? Has Verizon done something to the update that would make this not work?
Thank you!

yes, it would work. however you can call Verizon and change it to a tablet plan if you are on the MEP so the line access charge is $10. Now if you have UDP, then you would have to pay the regular smartphone charges.

I have unlimited data. My S3 is more of an internet-multimedia device than phone. I don't make many calls so occasionally switching the sim to the Nexus 7 with the unlimited data plan would be great.

Whatever you do, don't call Verizon. Just swap sims and you are good to go. AFAIK, Verizon is the only US carrier allowing unlimited unthrottled 4GLTE on tablets.
