Hi,
Unfortunately i have a broken screen on my Samsung A5 2017 (no image and no touch function anymore).
The phone itself still works OK underneath and it runs good. If you plug it into a Windows device, its still recognizable.
I want to copy a few things from this phone, but if I plug it in on the PC you must of course first unlock it (pin code) and then press 'allow' so that the memory becomes visible in Windows. With a black screen and no touch function at all, thats a bit difficult.
I also have a working Samsung A5 2016 model, which is very similar. Can I separate that screen and connect it to the A5 2017?
It does not have to fit perfectly, just that I have an image on my phone and I can enter the pin code / click permission and copy my items from it.
Are the underlying connectors / connections on both devices the same for this?
I didnt get a clear answer a using google search, so i hope somebody can help me.
Thanks.
