Use your Pin as required by the security policy?

Using nova launcher I lock the phone by double tap. When I tap to wake I get the pin request with the message.

If I lock the phone with the power button and unlock it gives the finger option but opens with the face I'd which is fine.

When in a app that uses fingerprint it works with no issues as some have reported.

So where is this security policy found?? Thanks in advance.

You go into nova settings then scroll to bottom >advance tap it

yes! I had always picked device admin before pie days and never thought of that option setting as setup was always just restoring nova from backup.

working great with fingerprint. thanks for the input.
