Used Working Thunderbolt at VZW Store!

Notes of Interest:

- speed test scores (believe me on this) were 15 mbps on download and 24 mbps on the upload
- quadrant (believe me again) was 1788.
- the phone felt great in the hand, soft touch backing was... soft.
- weighty but not too weighty.
- 4G was FAST! downloaded quadrant in 2 seconds!
- screen was bright and vibrant
- super snappy!
- please note that the hand in the picture is not mine, it's the vzw rep's hand.
- it had a 4G sim and 32 GB sd card in it.

I was a little shocked went to one of my corp. verizon store in the mall and looked around for the thunderbolt but I found nothing no displays, no dummy unit the store looked just the same as it has for the past month. they had there little iphone section, droid section, BB section and tablet/ air card section. But where was the thunderbolt section no where to be found and after checking the verizon web site a few minutes ago still no change there either still says coming soon but does not show up on the purchase page yet. Hey verizon can you at least have it on display before it goes on sale. I didnt make it to bestbuy they may have dummy uint on display?

Sense battery meter goes down in brackets, not continuously. More than likely, at that minute the battery went from the minimum percentage required to show that bracket in the first picture to the maximum percentage to show the next.

Called my BB before closing and the girl working there checked her system and said there were 37 in stock. I've got my preorder so I'm going in tomorrow after work to pick it up. I also called the VZ corp store they also said they've got 30 sitting in the back, waiting for release tomorrow. Although I've got more than 13 hours to go to pick up mine, I'm excited that we're ready to finally get these phones and heres hoping we will get fast permroot as well

I did the same. Second store I called had a working unit. I went in to play. The sound was good. The weight surprised me. I thought it weighed less than the EVO or the Inspire.

The battery was at 80% after 1 hour, but the girl said she had been downloading apps, changing backgrounds, etc for the entire hour. Depending on the screen brightness, 20% an hour isn't bad performance under constant use.
