Username curiosity... are you curious?

I have a technical job, and some people (whom are incorrect) believe me to be intelligent. The proof that they are incorrect, are the infinite examples of me doing incredibly stupid things. My family has said "You're the stupidest smart person we've ever met". I seem to have contradictory behaviors. I AM, an oxymoron.

Unfortunately, I'm not the only one. Sometimes this username is taken, and I have to use quinsdad or some derivative.

I use this, or quinsdad everywhere. Quin is my son. I'm his dad. You know... heh.

Well unfortunately I am not nearly as creative as some of the members, it's cool to see these explanations.

I have used my name since 2003 Due to my lack of creativity, I used "Wes" my first name and "R6" due to the fact that I own a 2003 Yamaha YZF-R6 Motorcycle.

Not really sure what I would do if I ever sold the bike.

A kid in college called me tony bag o donuts after we watched my cousin vinny.
It stuck for a bit and took off when one christmas at the studio where I was studying architecture the girls I were friends with made a dunkin donuts bag and each one made a donut christmas card.

The rest is history.

DEF = Doug E Fresh. Since my name is Doug, back in high school, clever people would call me Doug E Fresh or DEF. (prounounced: "deaf", obviously)

DC = My initials.

I, too, was trying AOL IM usernames, and everything I tried was taken. In fury, I tried those non-sequiturs and it was available.

I realized it was short, easy to type, and sounded kinda cool.

I used it all over, as it was never taken anywhere. I laughed when I was dominating while playing UT '99 online, and someone yelled some racist comments at me . I explained that he was an idiot, and I was a white guy from Indianapolis.

I too am a Doug. I was in high school in the 80's so I heard the name Doug E Fresh all the time. And for some reason, allot of people can't spell and add an H making it Dough. Ugh! lol

Well pre-www.com before the internet was opened to the public there where BBS systems where I started my first Screen name: Zed Orda Zion a.k.a. ZOZ. My activities back then earned me a ban on computing units till the age of 18 along with a confiscation of what I had at the time. Around 20 I built my first rig since the ban and decided to shorten my old screen name to the present Zedorda.
