Users only using an average of 2gb a month

How is it possible to use under 2 GB? My usage reset on the 21st and I am already over 3 GB! I must say I would never use this much on the old Verizon 3G but now that I have 4G LTE all over my city, and I have an unlimited data plan, why not gobble up every MB possible? Not to mention since I've found FoxFi, I practically run my entire tech class because all my friends would rather use my 4G connection than the school's slow as hell internet that has every good website blocked! Not to mention my Xbox 360 loves 4G LTE! :)

Cool story, bro.

How to use less than 2GB? Basically don't do what you do.

Why wouldn't you do what I do? If you're still grandfathered into unlimited, why care how much you use? Especially with Verizon's 4G LTE speeds higher than most WiFi connections why bother trying to use WiFi?

You asked how people can stay under 2GB. I gave you an answer.

I have Verizon FiOS at home, so my speeds on WiFi are just as fast as 4G LTE.

Doesn't matter though. If people wanted to stay under 2GB, they can. Some people don't even know how little they use.

And everyone on here sounds so surprised.

I'll give a few reasons...
1. There is a lot less battery drain on wifi versus 4g
2. Wifi is usually more reliable especially inside buildings where 4g can drop easier
3. There is virtually no noticeable difference between the 12 mbps I get on wifi and the 15 mbps I would get on 4g.
4. If I can use wifi I would rather do that than create more congestion on the towers that would slow down others.

When I had a wimax phone with sprint I used about 3gb on average cellular data. And about another 2 or 3 on wifi. Now while I wait for their lte I use about 300 to 400mb cellular. It sucks.

I read this the other day and it is exactly what I have been telling.people for a while now. The people who use significantly more than.that are.the exception not the rule.

Thanks for FIOS. With all of 2 Xboxes, 1 PS3,1 Wii, 2 iPod touches 3 Android phones, 4PCs, and a tablet all streaming video at any given time. It never slows down ever. I know a little off topic, but I had to share this.

I use tons of data over wifi so if i didn't have the wifi passwords of my house and my friends house, and school I would be up the with the huge data users iuse about two gigs but can easily use a gig in day

Holy *&^@ my Bright House Networks (formerly Road Runner) connection slows to a crawl just playing on Xbox 360 and when playing a YouTube video I am forced to use 480p unless I want to wait for 720p to load for a few minutes. 4G LTE paired with FoxFi is my hero!!!

Are used max 600MB in mouth, i mostly used twitter, but also some browsing, sometiems update an app and watch youtube

Wow. I guess I'll add to the low end here. I kept my plan on only 500mb from my BlackBerry. It's been two or three months and I haven't hit gone over. In fact, I'm at less than 300 right now on my Galaxy Nexus.

I only use data for social media and email. I don't watch YouTube or anything when away from Wi-Fi. Nor do I update or download apps until I am home. The most I do is share photos to Instagram or Facebook.

My wife has an iPhone with 1gb data and she hasn't hit 400 mb yet. She does the same thing I do.
